PUBLIC NOTICE: Notice of Special Council Meeting

In accordance with regulation 12(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Thursday 30 April 2026, commencing at 5PM, in the Council Chambers at City of Stirling, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling. 

The purpose of the meeting is for Council to consider:

1. Whether member councils can obtain an exemption from the requirement to deliver their general (non-recyclable) waste to MRC;
2. The options for member councils to obtain exemptions from the requirement to deliver their general (non-recyclable) waste to MRC, with or without conditions.
