As a local government authority, Mindarie Regional Council (MRC) is required to conduct a public tender process for all purchases estimated to be in excess of $250,000. MRC may also choose to invite public tenders, even where the estimated value of the purchase is less than the prescribed tender threshold.

(RFT_2526004) Waste diversion and disposal services

Mindarie Regional Council (MRC) is undertaking a tender process for the provision of waste diversion, disposal, recycling, and transfer services associated with operations at the Tamala Park Waste Management Facility.

The objective of the tender is to secure reliable interim and future waste management arrangements to support continuity of service for member councils and customers in circumstances where landfill airspace at Tamala Park is unavailable due to regulatory or operational constraints.

MRC is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and licensed organisations capable of receiving, transporting, processing, recovering and/or disposing of a range of waste streams according to the below listed separable portions.

Respondents are to submit their proposals to either one or more of the below waste categories:

  1. Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
  2. Green waste
  3. Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste
  4. Commercial and Industrial (C&I) waste
  5. Bulk verge collection materials
  6. Asbestos waste
  7. Other potential resource recovery or diversion streams
