The Council is seeking to appoint an outstanding Local Government Regional Council CEO who will embrace the Organisation, has a demonstrable track record of success, can continue to deliver on their Strategic and Corporate Plan, truly embraces the challenges facing this industry and is passionate about making a difference to ensure its continued success.

The ability to work effectively with the Council, its seven member Local Governments comprising Stirling, Joondalup, Vincent, Victoria Park, Wanneroo, Cambridge and Perth alongside Federal and State Governments and stakeholders is key to success in this Regional Council.

Outstanding interpersonal, relationship management and team building capabilities are essential together with an expertise in the waste management industry and a thorough knowledge of Local Government compliance.

This position is offered on a performance based contract of three to five years with a remuneration package in the range of $157,920 - $256,711 per annum (in accordance with SAT Band 3). Refer to the Candidate Information Package for a full break down of the remuneration package.
