REUSE Shop

Workpower is in partnership with the Mindarie Regional Council to operate the Tamala Park Reuse Shop and Drop-Off centre. To find out more about Workpower, go to their website at workpower.com.au/about-us

The recently refurbished and extended Reuse Shop provides a second chance for unwanted items, offering them for sale instead of sending them to landfill. An array of second-hand items is available for purchase by the general public such as:

  • Clothing
  • Furniture
  • Kitchenware and other household items
  • Toys

  • Entertainment (DVD’s, stereo’s, books, etc)
  • Outdoor equipment such as bikes, golf clubs, and camping gear.
  • Tools and parts
  • Building materials
Most items are priced under $10, though shoppers can expect to walk away with a host of items for less than $2 and prices are negotiable. Not only will you grab a bargain, but through reusing, refurbishing or upcycling the item, your purchase will be making a positive impact on the environment.

The Reuse Shop can be found by taking the first left-hand turn after entering Tamala Park.

Come on down for a visit, you never know what treasure you may find!

Have items you no longer want?

Drop off your used items to the Reuse Shop and give them a second chance at life! We welcome goods from all of the categories listed previously, however, there are some items not permitted for resale and are therefore unable to be accepted. To view this list, please click here.

All items are accepted at the discretion of the attendant, taking into consideration the condition of the item, available space in the store, current stock levels and anticipated demand.

To drop off your goods, drive past the Reuse Shop to the recyclable drop-off area and an attendant will assist you.
