16/03/2020 Waste Education activities are postponed as of today due to the current COVID-19 virus pandemic. In light of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, as a precautionary measure we are postponing our waste education activities until further notice. This includes our visits to schools, community groups and businesses; tours of Tamala Park and our Resource Recovery Facility; and our Earth Carers program. This is in line with State and Federal advice to limit non-essential gatherings in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. Schools that are part of our battery program will still continue to have their battery bins emptied. Schools may also join the program, however, assistance with launching the program via a school assembly or other presentation or talk, will not be offered at this time.
