Waste Diverted due to RRF shutdown The Resource Recovery Facility (RRF) in Neerabup is about to commence its planned shutdown to facilitate the composter replacement project and allow the facility to carry out extensive lifecycle maintenance. The actual shutdown will commence Tuesday 18th August 2015 and it is expected that works will take place over a 14 week period. FIRE BAN – TAMALA PARK CLOSED 5th Feb – 8th Feb 2015 Due to the bushfires in the south of the State and the continuing expected hot weather DFES has imposed a Total Fire Ban and a Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban throughout the City of Wanneroo, that includes Tamala Park. The ban is effective from 4 February 2015 at 17h00 until 8 February at 23h59.
