Neighbour Day - a celebration of local community

In a special event for Earth Carers, friends and neighbours, we’re celebrating with speakers Sharon Maloney, Annie dunn and theresa youngs-lachmund sharing stories and tips about getting together to learn from each other about low waste living.

Sharon Moloney started up the Buy Nothing Project in West Leederville, and Advanced Earth Carer Annie Dunn will talk about Transition Towns Stirling and her community composting project. Theresa Youngs-Lachmund started the Vincent Community Kitchen, by creating a monthly meal for locals from rescued food.

Whether it’s verge gardens, community composting, swapping household items - there are lots of ways to keep landfill waste down and connect in our local neighbourhoods!

Come and hear some do-able ideas and tell us yours.
